Color Trend Consultant - Bicycles

Color Trend Consultant - Bicycles includes four color and effect matrices, assigned to the different types of bicycles that we have identified:
Racing, Off-Road, Touring and City.
Each collection is distinguished by its character, colors, effects and finishes, as well as by the application context.
The 24 shades proposed represent a starting point for multiple combinations, such as monochromatic or bichromatic solutions, obtainable, for example, by varying the level of gloss, adding a special effect in the base or in the transparent, or by creating eye-catching contrasts.
This is just a small preview of what your personalized offer of colors for bicycles can become, thanks to the support of the Lechler R&D Color Department.
The proposal is not limited to the chromatic possibilities alone, but also introduces innovations at a chemical level.
Most of the solutions presented can be applied with both solvent and water-based technology, in matt or glossy versions, as described in the guide.

The diagram positions the four collections based on color contrast, temperature, saturation and finish. The horizontal axis represents the transition from matte to gloss and from warm to cold tones. The selected colors are inspired not only by the style of bicycles, but also by the natural and urban context in which they are used.

RACING: color schemes that emphasize speed and dynamism during the race. The palette develops from bright and dark colors to desaturated neutral pearl effects.

OFF-ROAD: schemes with complementary colors and in continuity with wild nature. The palette is composed of lively and bright shades of medium intensity.

TOURING: schemes with dark and shadow neutral colors, enriched by effects dedicated to long-distance travel with specific equipment.

CITY: schemes with full colors, low and medium saturation and brightness, designed to harmonize with the urban lifestyle, the clothing of the inhabitants and the surrounding architecture.

COLORS

A polychromatic range that includes yellow, orange, red, purple, blue and green, available in different intensities of brightness, saturation and effects. Many of the colors in the collection, thanks to the applied effects, allow you to create an impression of multiple shades depending on the shape and intended use of the bicycle frame.

FINISHES

In line with current trends in the cycling sector, satin-matt (about 20 GU) and glossy (over 90 GU)* finishes are available. The range includes solid colors and special effects, such as pearl and Starglass.

All color formulations are available in the Lechler MAP® software.

*It is possible to adjust the gloss level during the customization process of the color proposal.
