The double nature that is water/solvent, of our proposal, covering the complete range of metal substrates as well as proposing products with different chemical natures allow us to offer solutions to varied sectors, embracing different categories and market segments.
Starting from products with direct contact with the metal surface, we can offer solutions with a primary resistance to rust and move to higher performing products till getting to high-resistance products, especially designed to protect complex plants and facilities in the most critical environments and process conditions.

We remind you that the protection of a manufactured item is completed by the application of a finish, which gives the colour and the gloss level required while conferring a suitable weather and ageing resistance. Inside the Lechler Tech product range you can find solutions with different chemical nature and gloss level, which can be combined with the primer/filler in the table above to be applied in W/W or D/D systems with different application methods.
The painting processes required for the greatest anticorrosion of metals have been created and tested in our laboratories following the instructions of the most important relevant standard, that is the Standard ISO 12944, recognised and widely adopted for the protection from corrosion of metal structures exposed to the most difficult environmental conditions. The Standard deals with the protection of steel structures through painting and considers the main elements to ensure a suitable protection against corrosion by means of operating instructions.
The table indicated below shows a classification helping you correlate the exposure environment of the manufactured item with the relevant class of corrosion.

In this table you can identify a hypothetical lifetime of the applied protection. The greater the durability required by the standard, the longer will be the time needed for the first important maintenance.

It must be specified that these durability intervals ARE NOT equivalent to a guarantee, but they only give a general time frame to plan a suitable programme of ordinary maintenance.
The painting processes in the table here below have been evaluated according to precise standards, as described in the ISO 12944 part 6.
Specific painting processes compliant with the tests required by the ISO Standard have been conceived and selected according to the type of substrate treated, the surface pre-treatment, the class of corrosion typical of the territorial and climatic location and the durability requested.
