Color Trainer Young SCHOOLS: colours that help children concentrate

The proposal for municipal administrations, headmasters/headmistresses and professionals who renovate schools and provide their colour design.

The premise of Chrèon's Color Trainer - Young project is essential; it claims that children are influenced by the colour of their living environments and, based on their age; they can perceive contrasts and different degrees of colour saturation. Hence the need to use dedicated shades for each growth phase, and to establish the rules for the choice and correct use of colour to create harmonious and appropriate combinations.

Partnered by the colour designer Francesca Valan, Chrèon has developed Color Trainer Young SCHOOLS, which has led to the study of 73 dedicated colour proposals to decorate school environments by differentiating proposals by the age group of each type of school in order to ensure the wellbeing of our children in environments where, after their home, they spend most of their time. The proposal and guidelines for Schools are entered in a dedicated Guide designed for headmasters/headmistresses, public administrators and consultants who are responsible for designing and choosing the colours of the environments of nurseries, kindergartens and primary schools. 

The rules applied to choosing colours in such scenarios differ from those adopted for rooms at home. Furthermore, guidelines concerning the brightness of rooms and the use of dedicated paints in the various areas of the schools must not be underestimated. Indications provided by the guide can be exploited to easily choose the suitable colours with Chrèon's Colour Circle for Schools and the Colour Card, tools that divide options by environment and type of school. The proposal, which includes colours, guidelines and products to be used, is the specialised professional solution to design environments that meet functional, environmental and regulatory requirements with the quality of Chrèon products that improve the wellbeing of children who use school environments.
