Chrèon focuses on sustainability

We are proud to announce a major achievement for our Chrèon brand: all water-based paints, major water-based enamels, and preparation products (such as primers) have obtained the prestigious Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold certification.

The Indoor Air Comfort Gold certification represents the highest recognized standard in Europe and internationally for low-emission and non-toxic products, free from harmful substances such as formaldehyde. It confirms not only compliance with European regulatory requirements, but also alignment with the most stringent environmental standards, including:

French A+ rating - CAM (Minimum Environmental Criteria for building) - AgBB - M1 - EU Ecolabel

This ensures healthier indoor environments for people who live and work in spaces treated with Chrèon paints. Our products also meet the requirements of green building protocols such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL, supporting professionals in sustainable certification projects.

The certification is part of a broader strategy focused on our “Sustainable by Design” approach, which includes:

• Development of biobased coatings, formulated with raw materials from renewable sources
• Use of packaging made from industrially recycled plastics, reducing environmental impact across the supply chain
