Colour is a language that continues to evolve. Technological, cultural and artistic changes have always influenced the domestic landscape in our homes and surrounding environments. The analysis of past products revealed that significant colour changes are recorded in cycles which means that general colour preferences for the near future can be predicted with a fair degree of accuracy.
Defining new scenarios is an essential aspect of Color Design and contributes to determining the quality of home environments, architectural features of buildings and the commercial success of an industrial product.
The Color Design Project by Lechler, organized in partnership with the industrial designer Francesca Valan, provides indications, suggestions and technical information to make choosing colour and finishes easier.

The cycle of events Color Design for 2019 is about to end: how did it go ?
The birth of Color Design marked a turning point in the age-old history of Lechler. Recognised by all as a ‘chemical company specialised in the production of paints’ Lechler has turned into a ‘company promoting the culture of colour’.
First the projects Color Trainer for the choice of the wall colours, then Color Trend Consultant, colours and effects for industrial items, afterwards Color Trend Habitat, trendy finishes for wooden furniture and at the end ‘The Way of…’, chromatic styles for the furnishing market tout court.
Lechler doesn’t forget and doesn’t neglect its technological DNA, which keeps on being a key element in carrying out performing and long-lasting solutions, which can be industrialised. Nevertheless, with Color Design it directly addressed to designers and architects with the aim to perform and industrialise their aesthetical desires.
In this year 2019, too, Lechler went around the world to present its chromatic proposals and it met a lot of you. We discussed, chatted and understood how chromatic needs change according to latitude and longitude, but they have a solid element in common: the search for beauty.
