Colour is a language that continues to evolve. Technological, cultural and artistic changes have always influenced the domestic landscape in our homes and surrounding environments. The analysis of past products revealed that significant colour changes are recorded in cycles which means that general colour preferences for the near future can be predicted with a fair degree of accuracy.
Defining new scenarios is an essential aspect of Color Design and contributes to determining the quality of home environments, architectural features of buildings and the commercial success of an industrial product.
The Color Design Project by Lechler, organized in partnership with the industrial designer Francesca Valan, provides indications, suggestions and technical information to make choosing colour and finishes easier.
Projects that are included in Lechler Color Design:
Two million vehicles manufactured in ten years and more than 17.000 car personalisations, exclusive events and innovative marketing. This is the summary of the Mini car identity card, one of the most loved car vehicles by youngsters worldwide. On the 8th September last, it celebrated its tenth anniversary from launch on the Italian market. Celebrations took place in the wonderful Design Museum by the Triennale in Milan with an event entitled: Mini Route10. Ten years on the road of creativity. Great interest was generated with the exhibition of some personalised cars which have contributed to this great success, just like the electric version or the version used for rallying or for the interpretations of artists and stylists. But the vehicle that attracted the interest of the greatest part of the guests was the Mini Countryman Firefly by Castagna Milano. The historical Atelier in Milan, which has been creating on demand only, transport vehicles since 1849, has interpreted the Mini philosophy by creating the first vehicle in the world equipped with photo luminescent paint. Thanks to a Lechler painting cycle composed of a white basecoat, Chroma Flash Basecoat Ghost and clearcoat, it has been possible to obtain this spectacular effect on bonnet and mirrors.
