Colour is a language that continues to evolve. Technological, cultural and artistic changes have always influenced the domestic landscape in or homes and surrounding environments. The analysis of past products revealed that significant colour changes are recorded in cycles which means that general colour preferences for the near future can be predicted with a fair degree of accuracy.
Defining new scenarios is an essential aspect of Color Design and contributes to determining the quality of home environments, architectural features of buildings and the commercial success of an industrial product.
The Color Design Project by Lechler, organized in partnership with the industrial designer Francesca Valan, provides indications, suggestions and technical information to make choosing colour and finishes easier.
Projects that are included in Lechler Color Design:
IVE presents the new effects that can be obtained with the tintometric system LWE Effects
Below, you can learn more about the effects that can be obtained with the tintometric system LWE Effects. The effects are presented in the tool LWE Effect Proposal, applied on panel with each of 9 cycles that can be obtained with LWE.
Each panel is inserted in a cover representing a manufactured item that can be decorated with the presented effect and contains the description of the cycle in 4 languages. LWE Effect Proposal integrates with the new finishes of Lechler Color Design SynergÍa, a post metal perspective, that proposes the range of the most suitable colours to be combined with specific effects to underline their particular characteristics.
One or two-coat acrylic finish for applications on flat glass with metallic, pearl or micaceous effect.
Glass components of furniture for interiors (tables, tops, shutters, etc.) for effect finishes.
One or two-coat acrylic finish for lacquered items and undercoats with metallic, pearl or micaceous effect.
Suitable for matt and semi gloss lacquered non-yellowing finishes on panels and furniture components. It is suggested for both open and closed-grained finishes.
Finish with steel/chrome effect
It reproduces the chrome effect on wooden manufactured items; it is suitable for panels and furniture components. It can be used in two-coat system with gloss clearcoats within the IVE product range.
Gloss finish with anodised steel effect, it can be obtained by using the finish STEEL IVE, integrated with a clearcoat 75 Gloss. It has to be applied on suitably prepared primers
It is suitable for painting panels and flat surfaces of furniture.
Matt finish with polished steel effect, it can be obtained by using the finish ACRYLACK EFFECT, integrated with a matt clearcoat 20 Gloss. It has to be applied in metallic colours on suitably prepared primers.
Gloss finish with diamond effect that communicates with the light it receives; its use accentuates the form of manufactured items where it is applied. It can be obtained by using the finish ACRYLACK in solid colour, integrated with the gloss clearcoat STARGLASS.
