Colour is a language that continues to evolve. Technological, cultural and artistic changes have always influenced the domestic landscape in or homes and surrounding environments. The analysis of past products revealed that significant colour changes are recorded in cycles which means that general colour preferences for the near future can be predicted with a fair degree of accuracy.
Defining new scenarios is an essential aspect of Color Design and contributes to determining the quality of home environments, architectural features of buildings and the commercial success of an industrial product.
The Color Design Project by Lechler, organized in partnership with the industrial designer Francesca Valan, provides indications, suggestions and technical information to make choosing colour and finishes easier.

There is a driving force more powerful than steam, electricity and atomic energy: the will (Albert Einstein)
And in Como there is certainly no shortage of willpower! Between 5 and 25 May the Festival of Light will once again play host to numerous events and meetings open to the general public that will touch on both scientific issues and the various levels of knowledge - including the light of reason and the shadows of the subconscious - that modulate the horizon of knowledge and the modern conscience.
For the third year running the Alessandro Volta Foundation has organised this wonderful Festival, which seeks to familiarise the general public with science (from biology to physics, astrophysics and photonics) using a communicative language that is suitable for everyone, taking in other areas of knowledge, such as philosophy, art, music and architecture, at the same time. The theme of this third edition will be the dualism of “light and shade” in the physical, human and art worlds.
High-profile guests such as the winner of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics Shuji Nakamura (inventor of the blue LED), philosopher and academic Massimo Cacciari and geneticist Edoardo Boncinelli, among others, will be participating in Como and various other nearby locations.
Lechler was once again keen to support the Alessandro Volta Foundation in this worthy initiative in 2016.
