This partnership was sealed during the hectic ‘Lechler Day’, held in the distributor’s Middelfart training centre, where programs, strategies and technologies were shared. The entire facility was available for the event, which was very smoothly and successfully set up and run.
Baden-Jensen was represented by Mr. Finn Baden-Jensen, Sales Manager Michael Helding and Gerhard Wiechert, Technical Training Manager. Lechler was represented by Marco Pratelli, the Refinish CfE&Product Manager, and Martin Lobert, Lechler Coatings GmbH’s Sales & Marketing Director.
The main item on the agenda was the presentation of Lechler Strategy for the Refinish market, namely the “Bodyshop Efficency Program”, a service-focused European project aimed to improve efficiency of car workshops, and a product-related project, mainly focused on the Hydrofan System and on the latest products - Macrofan Autolevel Primer and Macrofan Airtech UHS Clearcoat.
It may seem a contradiction for the whole company to have decided to stop its operations for a full day to hold an event actually focused on efficiency, yet this is the very message that Lechler and its distributors wish to extend to European car workshops with the “Bodyshop Efficency Program”: the need to stop, question their working practices and ask themselves where they can be improved.
After a hard day’s work, all attendees got together for a toast with an international flavour: a rigorously Italian sparkling wine and a typically Danish cheer! Two different cultures, a common goal: the distribution of Lechler products to the Refinish market in Denmark.
