from 10 to 30 January 2024 at the ADI Design Museum in Milan.
Car design and vintage automobile restoration come together to create an exhibition telling the story of Italian automotive production in the 1970s and ‘80s and conservative vintage car restoration.
A show focusing on automotive design and conservation through the display of unique specimens from the Lopresto Collection, designed by the most famous names in 20th-century car design, retracing an evolution leading from the post-war custom-built years to the prototypes of the ‘70s and ‘80s.
It features insights into conservative restoration through the contribution of the female students of the Restoration course at the Aldo Galli Academy, subdividing the work into the various stages of the process, available for all visitors to view.
Also on display is the bonnet of a vintage Fiat Topolino, painted using Lechler products.
The exhibition is organised under the patronage of the Automobile Club d’Italia (ACI), ACI Storico and ACI Milan, the Mille Miglia Museum and the Milan Association of Engineers and Architects, with the contribution of Lechler.
