For a long while Lechler has engaged in promoting and supporting Arts through cooperation with architects and artists in Italy and abroad. Lechler for Art is an ensemble of activities in which the Company is involved supporting events, masterpieces and musical initiatives particularly those occurring in Como, Headquarters of the Company where the town is considered rich in precious architectural works and with beautiful monuments with high artistic value.
Fabrizio Musa and Lechler are both based in the Como area, and have a desire to enrich, add value to and export the area name - each with their own means and in their own unique way.
They also share the curiosity that pushes them to explore new technologies, which are not seen as threats for art and culture, but instead as opportunities to create and safeguard "beauty". Lastly, and very simply, artists need colour. Even though everything around us is painted, we often act as if we don't notice the colour. This time, the artist is trying to help improve the status of colour, because Fabrizio Musa uses Lechler brand paints and his works are anything but invisible. Here are the "secrets" of a long lasting partnership, confirmed through this edition of this photographic book containing mainly "Opere Pubbliche" by Fabrizio Musa, many of which in the Como area.
The volume is a collection of photographs, made during the past 10 years, of the Public Works done on the city walls by Fabrizio Musa: from the first Wall Paint dedicated to the Novocomum di Terragni in Como in 2004 to the present.
The book FABRIZIO MUSA PUBLIC WORKS 2004_2014 was presented on Thursday, 11 December 2014 at 8:30 pm at the Unione Industriali in Como. The artist was joined by the other authors and sponsors of this splendid publication:
Aram Manoukian Chairman of Lechler Spa Main sponsor of the project Alberto Longatti and Roberto Borghi Curators of the book.
