Colour is a language that continues to evolve. Technological, cultural and artistic changes have always influenced the domestic landscape in our homes and surrounding environments. The analysis of past products revealed that significant colour changes are recorded in cycles which means that general colour preferences for the near future can be predicted with a fair degree of accuracy.
Defining new scenarios is an essential aspect of Color Design and contributes to determining the quality of home environments, architectural features of buildings and the commercial success of an industrial product.
The Color Design Project by Lechler, organized in partnership with the industrial designer Francesca Valan, provides indications, suggestions and technical information to make choosing colour and finishes easier.
Projects that are included in Lechler Color Design:
The dream of Alberto Riva, the engineer who sails the waves of the oceans, but also of ours, who, as technical partners, contributed to turning it into reality.
“Acrobatica” is a Class40, a particularly fast boat capable of reaching 30 knots, that was built at the San Giorgio Marine shipyards in Genoa. It’s a so-called "scow" boat, that is, with a round bow that facilitates gliding on the waves; it’s an innovative boat, with sophisticated electronic and IT systems and complete with solar panels, with the ambition of achieving total energy autonomy.
Stoppani is the technical sponsor with the customised painting process, supplied by the local distributor Canessa.
The project behind “Acrobatica”, a latest generation Class40, has a duration of 3 years and will take Alberto Riva around the world, to compete in the most important international sailing competitions: a sporting programme that sees the "baptism" in the ocean next October with participation in the very tough transatlantic "Transat Jacques Vabre" to return to the ocean in the spring of 2024 on the occasion of the Transat CIC (from Brest to New York), historic solo regatta once known as Ostar. Alberto will then set sail for the "Atlantic Cup" (from Charleston to Newport, in the United States) and finally back to Europe for the equally famous "Quebec-St Malo", for a total of 7500 miles and three Atlantic crossings in 9 months.
