Colour is a language that continues to evolve. Technological, cultural and artistic changes have always influenced the domestic landscape in our homes and surrounding environments. The analysis of past products revealed that significant colour changes are recorded in cycles which means that general colour preferences for the near future can be predicted with a fair degree of accuracy.
Defining new scenarios is an essential aspect of Color Design and contributes to determining the quality of home environments, architectural features of buildings and the commercial success of an industrial product.
The Color Design Project by Lechler, organized in partnership with the industrial designer Francesca Valan, provides indications, suggestions and technical information to make choosing colour and finishes easier.
Projects that are included in Lechler Color Design:
The relationships between colours, between human beings, between past and present, between the ancient and the modern, between private and public space, between interior and exterior… here is our proposal that goes against the trend of individualism and minimalism.
“The Way of Relations”: this is the name of Lechler proposal which once again brought a new vision of colour to the Fuorisalone in Milan, which revolves around the concept of relationship, from any perspective you want to read it. The relationship between the colours proposed in the palettes inspired by artists of the past, the relationship of your privacy with the outside world since the pandemic (just think of the online meetings in which your home has become visible to colleagues and collaborators), or the relationship between inside and outside, which highlights an unbreakable bond between the external space of a garden or a terrace with the internal environment of the house. Once again, the relationship between the ancient and the modern, in which the furniture of the past is maintained and enhanced by the relationship with the contemporary furniture, as well as the relationship between various surfaces (plastics, wood, metals, concrete, etc.): all this in an age in which the watchword is sustainability, nothing is thrown away anymore, but is re-used and re-qualified.
