Colour is a language that continues to evolve. Technological, cultural and artistic changes have always influenced the domestic landscape in our homes and surrounding environments. The analysis of past products revealed that significant colour changes are recorded in cycles which means that general colour preferences for the near future can be predicted with a fair degree of accuracy.
Defining new scenarios is an essential aspect of Color Design and contributes to determining the quality of home environments, architectural features of buildings and the commercial success of an industrial product.
The Color Design Project by Lechler, organized in partnership with the industrial designer Francesca Valan, provides indications, suggestions and technical information to make choosing colour and finishes easier.

Paint Expo is an international fair with a strong technical matrix aimed at the world that orbits around the coating. Paint Expo 2022 was a reduced edition, but no less interesting, which brought many innovations and new technologies to the stage of the stands.
In the finishing sector the 'green' process continues: its water-borne proposals occupy a place of honour and new metallised solutions replace the old chromating and anodising painting processes. Technology, especially in this field, has made great strides offering today effects to the visitor's eyes that are almost confused with natural oxidation cycles.
Lechler attracted the public present at the fair with its Color Design proposals and with Isofan, its product of latest generation: it was an opportunity to describe the entire portfolio for the industrial market enriched by the innovations of the water-borne system Lechsys Hydro and by " friendly ” solutions for the painting of galvanised substrates. An overall proposal that consolidates Lechler among the most sensitive producers to environmental and operator safety issues.
The fair was also an opportunity to meet the market interest in carbon fibre, which, due to its versatility and its properties as well as mechanical strength, is now a consolidated alternative to the most diverse substrates. This confirms the importance of study of materials of the latest technology, as well as the harmonisation of the long-time competence acquired in the painting of plastics.
This edition of Paint Expo has brought great satisfaction to our team and a strong desire to restart throughout the sector, attracting a good number of visitors interested in the matter of environmental sustainability.
