Colour is a language that continues to evolve. Technological, cultural and artistic changes have always influenced the domestic landscape in our homes and surrounding environments. The analysis of past products revealed that significant colour changes are recorded in cycles which means that general colour preferences for the near future can be predicted with a fair degree of accuracy.
Defining new scenarios is an essential aspect of Color Design and contributes to determining the quality of home environments, architectural features of buildings and the commercial success of an industrial product.
The Color Design Project by Lechler, organized in partnership with the industrial designer Francesca Valan, provides indications, suggestions and technical information to make choosing colour and finishes easier.

Auto&Korjaamo (Car&Repair) exhibition is kept every third year in Helsinki at the end of January (23. - 25. 1.2014) and it´s the only event in Finland that gathers together several businesses and learning institutes from not only paint business but from all fields of automotive industry. For the first time in Finland LECHLER products were presented in this kind of event.
While this exhibition is getting quieter year after year, it was clearly obvious that people came to look something new and that was something Lechler importer Ykkösväri had to offer with LECHLER paint products - Hydrofan, Macrofan and Lechsys systems, which all were presented in Ykkösväri stand along with other interesting products mainly from Lechler Refinish product line. If some individual product have to put a head of all Macrofan AirTech UHS clearcoat kit was one of top objects of interest together with Hydrofan –system, which gives advantage by speed and color matching for the body shop.
To give some number facts of this event, total amount of visitors was 7228, which is over 30% less than in the year 2011 when there was 10 324 visitors. Seeing this kind of facts is little surprising, because we didn´t see this trend of slowing down happening at all, because people kept us really busy during the whole event. According visitor survey 90% of people were telling that the main reason to come was to see something new, which could boost their business and this is probably one of the reasons explaining our success. However, this kind of success won´t happen without high quality products and cooperation. During the whole exhibition process starting from planning the stand ending up to participating this event with us we received great support in everyway from Lechler people generating very good spirit to make business.
People showed great interest with the Lechler brand and there were coming strong message from visitors they have been waiting for some new winds in Finland´s paint market which have been long time controlled by few brands. This was very positive feedback and we believe that this event will accelerate success story of Lechler in Finland.
