Colour is a language that continues to evolve. Technological, cultural and artistic changes have always influenced the domestic landscape in our homes and surrounding environments. The analysis of past products revealed that significant colour changes are recorded in cycles which means that general colour preferences for the near future can be predicted with a fair degree of accuracy.
Defining new scenarios is an essential aspect of Color Design and contributes to determining the quality of home environments, architectural features of buildings and the commercial success of an industrial product.
The Color Design Project by Lechler, organized in partnership with the industrial designer Francesca Valan, provides indications, suggestions and technical information to make choosing colour and finishes easier.

“The Way of Accent” at Fuorisalone with its on-trend colours for spaces and objects destined to last in time.
A journey that started two million years ago with the formation of geodes in countless shades and infinite colour combinations: variegations that reveal colours and accents of inherent perfection, created thanks to the reactants of the various minerals present within them.
From this very union between nature and chemistry Lechler’s new solutions come to life; products that are extremely contemporary, yet designed to last over time, precisely like the geodes that inspired them.
Given that, by definition, neutral colours are those that are destined to last the longest, as they provide visual silence and do not overwhelm, in this project they now gain the upper hand, acquiring importance and greater visual duration.
Thus spaces are tinged with warm and enveloping shades of green, grey, and red, characterised by accents which enhance their value. The new colours in “The Way of Accent” exploit priority of visual interpretation: neutral colours are the foundation, accent colours are the focus.
Neutral, iridescent, dark and deep colours alternate with never-before-seen patterns that let you imagine the landscapes and spaces of the future. Spaces in which, thanks to never-before-seen chromatic alchemies between pigments and translucencies, colour takes centre stage, generating new “allochromatic” combinations.
