In the 150 years of history,Lechler conserved a complete archive of colours and original technical information concerning products and processe which have been used throughout the last century for Car and Motorcycles production in Italy. In the last few years, Lechler and ASI, an Association connecting more than 140.000 passionate historical vehicles, have undertaken official cooperation with research programmes, conservation and unification of the mutual archives.
Thanks to intense and professional research, the Official Register of Historical Motorcycles has been created containing the census and the colour ranges used by the Italian motorcycle producers. The archive is divided by brand, model and year of production. It has become the official register for the ASI Commissioners during their homologation sections for motorcycles repairs and in the meantime it is also available for the passionate owners of historical vehicles. Through their product systems, Lechler has rebuilt the colour composition to reproduce the original colours. Now all the enthusiasts can obtain the original colours of their historical vehicles thanks to Lechler paint, available in specialised sales points.
The passion and the experience of our technicians together with the ASI professional skills have allowed the verification of the composition of the original products, re-defining new and correct painting processes suitable to make historical car and motorcycle repairs with an absolute guarantee of an excellent result.
