Vernici e smalti dal 1858 VOL.1 (Italian version) Paints and Coatings since 1858 VOL.1 (English version) In 1856, Christian Lechler, German pharmacist, patented a special paint for metal painting. In 1858 he decided to sell his chemist shop, and he founded the company Chr. Lechler in Stuttgart, a company specialised in the supply of paint for the railway field. It is the beginning of a long history where study and research are the key of the management success of the Company. The volume ends with the narration of the Italian Lechler opened in Ponte Chiasso in 1889
Cent'anni di Lechler italiana VOL.2 (Italian version) It deals with the story of the Italian Lechler, born on 24th February 1910 when Giuseppe Brizzolara, Domenico La Regina and Alessandro Rizzi, employees in the subsidiary, bought the ownership and the brand with the support of a local bank and a small number of investors. The volume not only deals with the century story of the Chr. Lechler & Figlio Successori snc. Fabbrica italiana di vernici e smalti, but also deals with Italian Chemistry paint evolution with changes and technological development that occurred in those years, with a fluent and well informed narrative style
Attraverso le immagini (subtitles in Italian) Through Images(subtitles in English) The Lechler trilogy ends with the picture collection created by Agop Manoukian, Fabio Camozzi and Luciano Valli. Here the Lechler history is painted through images with the protagonists of the working life of the Company, historical documents, advertising messages, labels, packaging, colour fans distributed by following a chronological order settles by the evolution of the Lechler brand.
