The Lechler commitment to the Environment is certified: the Climate Certification
Since the 2009 Lechler approached Duales System in Germany to give their contribution to the objectives of economisation of environment resources.
On 2010/06/11 Lechler had received from Der Grüne Punkt-Duales System Deutschland GmbH the Climate Certification, an award for the Constant engagement of the Company in the Environment. During the year 2009, Lechler succeeded in avoiding emissions of 26 tons of CO2 thanks to the recycled packaging of their products. As pointed out by Dual System, Lechler made a saving in the Environment equivalent to a CO2 emission of 12 medium vehicles running 15.000 km each year! Duales System is the Company which grants Der Grüne Punkt (the Green Point), the logo you will find on the product packaging, certifying the collection and disposal, after utilisation, complying with the rules of the German Packaging Ordinance and complying with the European standards. The new technologies used by the German company allow a great energy saving and the reduction of CO2 emissions which are responsible for the greenhouse effect and for the global warming. In 2009 the CO2 emissions saved, thanks to the activity of the Duales System Company, were 1.5 million tons.
Cooperation with Duales System is a small part of the strong commitment of Lechler to the environment, also encouraged through the utilisation of Water Based and High Solid technologies with low impact on the environment conceived for all business, and also used for the operators safeguard beyond the total respect for the environment.
