Like every year the Geneva Motorshow was attended by hundreds of people coming from all over the world, not willing to lose out on this important exhibition.

The International exhibition launched dozens of new models. New models were presented by all Car Manufacturers including the long expected first world models of the Fiat Group: Lancia Delta, the new Fiat 500 Abarth, Alfa 8B spider and Maserati Granturismo S.

From the Far East came the small IQ and SUV Urban Cruise of Toyota and the Tata Nano. The latter a low cost 1700 euro vehicle aimed at contributing to the mass motorization in India with a view to be exported to western markets.

A common subject for many producers was the presentation of “ecological” cars in show car and prototype form. Among many models the futuristic concept from Italdesign the “Quaranta” was shown. This super technological and ecological single-seater, developed to celebrate the 40 years of Italdesign Giugiaro, is finished in a wonderful matt silver and boasts a modern motor using the Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive, front suspension from F1, leather and alcantara seats and… Lechler paint to enhance the car body aesthetics !

On the other hand, like every year, an entire Hall in the Geneve Palexpo was dedicated to plant materials and equipment, car spare parts and Tuning, attracting most of the operators in the car repair field.

Also this edition of Geneva Motorshow 2008 was a great occasion for us and our Swiss partner ESA, leader in the distribution of components, equipment and materials for the automotive field. It was an opportunity to meet Customers and present the latest news: Hydrofan products for the Refinish market and Lechsys Effect for Industry.
