For a long while Lechler has engaged in promoting and supporting Arts through cooperation with architects and artists in Italy and abroad. Lechler for Art is an ensemble of activities in which the Company is involved supporting events, masterpieces and musical initiatives particularly those occurring in Como, Headquarters of the Company where the town is considered rich in precious architectural works and with beautiful monuments with high artistic value.
Joining the family of the historical micaceous iron oxide is Isometal, a LOW V.O.C product, giving a special decorative effect with good protection on interior and exterior metal substrates. Isometal Hydro is the water-borne micaceous iron oxide odourless topcoat with a very LOW V.O.C., compliant with directive 2004/42/EC.
Its special decorative effect gives good protection to substrates and an excellent adhesion on ferrous metal, aluminium and zinc-coated steel sheet.
Isometal Hydros protective and decorative characteristics, well appreciated in interior and exterior decoration, are due to micaceous iron oxide, a pigment with special screening properties.
Its water-based formulation allows it to be odourless and, therefore, can be used without fear in interior rooms to protect and decorate stairs, doors and various metallic objects. Isometal Hydro is available in coarse and fine grain to meet the different aesthetical and decorative markets needs.
The surface metallic effect can show a very matt and rough final finish that, after overcoating with CERAMIZZANTE EXTRA (water-borne, even outside resistant clearcoat), can be more vivid and glossier, besides improving its abrasion resistance.
Isometal Hydro is colourable in all the desired nuances by simply adding a small DAC colorant quantity: so it will be possible to obtain finishes with a special metallic effect from dark grey or silver, to green, blue and red.
In order to help support the choice of the most suitable colour for your needs the new colour fan MICACEOUS IRON OXIDE TOPCOATS has been released. It includes Isometal Hydro, Syntex Micaceo micaceous effects, Ceramizzante Extras overcoating effect and a selection of 15 colours obtainable through mixing DAC colorants.
Moreover, a special counter display stand is available and is at the disposal of all distributors. Here, Isometal Hydro can be placed with an advertising picture along with samples sprayed with fine, coarse grain product overcoated with ceramizzante extra, which demonstrate the final finishes.
