For more than 150 years, Lechler has cooperated with important national car producers Style and Design Centres. Fiat, Maserati, Ferrari just to give the names of some of the Companies Lechler cooperates together with, to develop colour projects for car internal and external paintings.

The last project with Lechler as protagonist concerns the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale, created by Zagato, the historical brand for refinish and design in the Italian automobile field. The cooperation with the Milanese Company included the development of new chromatic systems and the supply of refinish painting processes and colours exclusively for the production of the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale.
The “Project TZ3” started up in 2010 in order to celebrate the 100 years anniversary of the Alfa Romeo brand (1910-2010) and the Alfa Romeo sporting and racing cars signed Zagato. The first phase included the creation of the TZ3 Corsa, which has been launched during the Concorso d’Eleganza di Villa d’Este in 2010 and has been awarded the Concept Design Award. The second phase has been recently completed with the first creation of the TZ3 Stradale (total = 9 units).

The TZ3 Stradale has a Viper ACR mechanized frame whilst the body is in carbon fibre. The TZ3 can be defined as the first American Alfa Romeo in their history. This high-powered car has been painted with Lechler products and with a front mounted 90° V 10 cylinder engine centrally positioned which is able to achieve 640 Cv at 6.100 rpm. It has got a 6 speed gear box and with dimensions of 4.262 mm long, by 2.006 mm wide, the weight is only 1.450 kg.
