On the 12th, 13th 14th of June a group composed of more than 50 people among the most important German body shops visited our Headquarters in Como, accompanied by some ZKF (Zentralverbandes Karosserie und Fahrzeugtechnik e.V.) representatives, the German main body repairers association.

Thanks to the consolidated Lechler partnership with ZKF, it was possible to organise a three day visit during which the attendants had the opportunity to see the R&D Laboratories and assist in our Centre for Excellence to a practical application of the Refinish last generation products. The programme of the visit scheduled for half of the group to visit some body shops in the Milan hinterlands and a visit to the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, to admire the vintage cars among which a delicious banquet was organised on the second day.

For the other group mainly interested in industrial body shops, a visit to the well known Scattolini Company was scheduled, the leading company in Europe in li

ght body shops for industrial use, then a visit to IVECO in Brescia the European producer of industrial vehicles, buses and diesel engines of the FIAT group. The third day was dedicated to a very interesting intervention made by Mr. Porro from the training and consultancy Circuito - Automotive Services company, who talked about the situation panorama in the Italian body shops.

In spite of the weather conditions, a great number of the attendants decided to extend their stay in Como and visit the Lombard and Switzerland neighbouring cities.

A wonderful occasion that showed to the German Refinish specialists the Italian market reality and create the basis for a very useful comparison for the growth in our field and establish ourselves as market leading businessmen.
