Colour is a language that continues to evolve. Technological, cultural and artistic changes have always influenced the domestic landscape in or homes and surrounding environments. The analysis of past products revealed that significant colour changes are recorded in cycles which means that general colour preferences for the near future can be predicted with a fair degree of accuracy.
Defining new scenarios is an essential aspect of Color Design and contributes to determining the quality of home environments, architectural features of buildings and the commercial success of an industrial product.
The Color Design Project by Lechler, organized in partnership with the industrial designer Francesca Valan, provides indications, suggestions and technical information to make choosing colour and finishes easier.

The Italian magazine La Chimica e l'Industria (Chemistry and Industry) edited by Promedia Publishing has published an article named 1° INCA Colloquialast December 2006, a detailed summary concerning the INCA Colloquia Convention named Green Chemistry at Marghera: Solvents Innovation in Chemical Industryheld in Venice on the 10th May 2006 in the Sciences Faculty in Cà Foscari University.
In the article, Prof. Tundo, Director of the Inter-Universitary Consortium INCA Chemistry for the Environment, talked about the subjects dealt with during the first of the four days devoted to the eco-complying solvents and sustainable chemical processes, gives a proud commentary to the Solvents in coatings: present and futurerelation made by the Lechler R&D Department.During the Convention Lechler has introduced the solvent evoluting process in the Coatings world and a careful analysis of the environmentally friendly products and of the UHS and water based systems with the advantages of their utilisation. The application and installation implications have been signalled, the formulation strategies made to drastically reduce the V.O.C. and the definition of the ways to choose to get to the solvent emission decreasing through the utilisation of the new generations components (SolvSafe project).
A very important acknowledgement, due to the great interest made by our intervention in the Convention which has seen the participation of a great number of University teachers, researchers, students and press.
