Color Design - colour turns into design!

Lechler's new concept connects chemical development with the evolution of the language of colour.

Colour is a language that continues to evolve. Technological, cultural and artistic changes have always influenced the domestic landscape in our homes and surrounding environments.  The analysis of past products revealed that significant colour changes are recorded in cycles which means that general colour preferences for the near future can be predicted with a fair degree of accuracy.

Defining new scenarios is an essential aspect of Color Design and contributes to determining the quality of home environments, architectural features of buildings and the commercial success of an industrial product.

The Color Design Project by Lechler, organized in partnership with the industrial designer Francesca Valan, provides indications, suggestions and technical information to make choosing colour and finishes easier.

Our exhibition at the Fuorisalone 2018: “The Way of Effects”

After our experience at the Fuorisalone 2018, discover “The Way of Effects”, the most popular colours and effects for the world of interior and industrial design.

Our exposition “The Way of Effects”, last episode of Color Design project, was located on the third floor of the FuturDome: since 2014 this project has promised designers, architects and style centres chromatic and finishes solutions for domestic and contract spaces that are being developed and will characterise future scenes of interior design.

It’s the first time we have revealed the rules to combine trendy colours with effects specifically created for manufactured items of wood, plastic, glass and metal. In the space items communicate with each other, but also with a changing speaker, able to modify and influence their aspect: it is the light, artificial or natural, that with “The Way of Effects” becomes a controlled and essential element in the design of domestic and contract spaces.

The Fuorisalone of Milan is truly a unique event because it can never be the same. The world of design travels at supersonic speed, new trends catch on and technology opens doors to little-known worlds.

Change is a key part of design and for this reason Ventura Projects bravely decided to leave the zone of Lambrate and open a new centre, denominated Ventura Future, composed of the exhibition space Loft and of FutureDome. As its name suggests, the FuturDome of Via Paisello, amazing building restored and former meeting place of Italian futurists, hosted future-oriented brands and designers.

Numbers, 45,000 visitors for Ventura Future, 55,000 for Ventura Centrale on an estimated total of 500,000 visitors of 1367 events of Milano Design Week (source Sole 24 Ore), proved the organisation to be right, because, compared to last results of Lambrate, it was able to direct professional visitors towards more selected and coherent expositions.

Discover the scenarios and relive the experience “The Way of Effects” through our event photo gallery.
