Color Design - colour turns into design!

Lechler's new concept connects chemical development with the evolution of the language of colour.

Colour is a language that continues to evolve. Technological, cultural and artistic changes have always influenced the domestic landscape in our homes and surrounding environments.  The analysis of past products revealed that significant colour changes are recorded in cycles which means that general colour preferences for the near future can be predicted with a fair degree of accuracy.

Defining new scenarios is an essential aspect of Color Design and contributes to determining the quality of home environments, architectural features of buildings and the commercial success of an industrial product.

The Color Design Project by Lechler, organized in partnership with the industrial designer Francesca Valan, provides indications, suggestions and technical information to make choosing colour and finishes easier.

Lechler is the technical sponsor of the exhibition dedicated to Antonio Sant’Elia at the Milan Triennale. One on all: Framaton Seta!

Lechler is the technical sponsor of the exhibition dedicated to Antonio Sant’Elia at the Milan Triennale. One on all: Framaton Seta!

The bond between Sant’Elia and Como, his native city, and Milan, where at a very young age he developed his idea of the city of the future, is so powerful that they will both be the venue of the exhibition dedicated to him to celebrate the centenary of his death. Lechler: present!

Antonio Sant'Elia, by birth a native of Como, world famous architect, precursor of Futurism, a legend unscathed by time… One hundred years after his death, Sant’Elia becomes the absolute protagonist of an exhibition based both in Como and in Milan. The Superintendencies of Como and Milan both wish to celebrate this anniversary by converging all his drawings and projects.

The Como Art Gallery, the Novocomum and the Triennale of Milan will be the venues of a single exhibition track that has been studied to better understand this artist who, in his short life (he died at the young age of 28 years), left many drawings and projects without having the opportunity to see their implementation. A warm thank you to architect Luca Ambrosini, who cooperated with the Ministry of Fine Arts and Landscape of Milan, along with Arch. Artioli (for many years the Superintendent of Architectural Heritage and Landscape of the Provincial Administrations of Milan, Bergamo, Como, Pavia, Sondrio, Lecco and Lodi). We have been involved by the Municipality of Como and the Milan Triennale as Technical Sponsors of the exhibition’s venues at the Milan Triennale and of the Como Art Gallery, providing all the paints required to prepare the exhibition. Our Framaton Seta has once again been chosen for its beautiful final aesthetic satin effect that enhances all the works displayed.

At the Art Gallery in Como, where an extensive series of drawings is displayed, the walls have been painted with Framaton Seta in the shade of beige-neutral hazelnut brown, as decided by the architects in charge of the exhibition fittings. Moreover, the exhibition will also include some contemporary works specially created for the occasion, particularly featuring two canvases by Fabrizio Musa, an artist who is very dear to us, who has always used Framaton Seta for his works!

Instead, at the Milan Triennale, all the walls of the four halls of the Aulenti Gallery where the artist’s works will be displayed have been painted with Framaton Seta in attractive shades specially chosen to highlight the artist’s projects, precisely red, sage green and vinaccia red. But that is not all of it... the 40 drawings displayed in halls 2 and 3 of the Gallery are framed by the onsite creations of Fabrizio Musa, namely four murals portraying certain details extrapolated from the works of Sant’Elia, once again produced with Framaton Seta!

Exhibition dates:

“Antonio Sant’Elia – the future of cities” - Milan Triennale Exhibition 24.11.2016 / 8.01.2017
“Antonio Sant’Elia – at the origins of the project” - Como Art Gallery, 25.11.2016 / 26.02.2017
